Hi, I‘m Carolina but everyone calls me Caro!

I have been lashing since December of 2019. I was inspired to start my lash journey back when I was a freshman at UTSA. I craved something new I can invest my time in. A family member actually introduced me to lashing & I grew a passion for lashing after that introduction.

What made me fall in love with lashing and the beauty industry was the client feedback!! Knowing my client feels confident after an appointment fills my heart for lashing a tad bit more. The “oooou”s and “aweee”s got me!! I’m a peoples pleaser so Im guessing thats where that comes from.

Some challenges I have faced as a lash artist is burn out. It’s a good and bad thing that I cannot say ”no” But I learned the hard way my first few years of lashing. The first few years I was lashing, I would get clients in back to back and never have time to live lol. I never scheduled a lunch, never had time to workout, never had time to rewind from the day, etc. I learned fast that in order to over come burn out, you need to schedule clients within your schedule. Don‘t schedule clients at their convenience(unless it’s a lash emergency)!! This just means scheduling only lashing for 4-6 hours a day to avoid burn out & still being able to do the things that “fill your cup”. At the end of the day, ”you cannot fill someone’s cup if yours is half empty”.

DFW Lash University has helped me grow as a lash professional because of their efficiency. I remember back when I attended DFW online, the enrollment process was quick & everything I needed to complete in order to obtain my license was well explained.

Advice I would give beginner lash artist is to focus on isolation because isolation is key! It keeps clients coming back because of proper attachment!

Advice I would give to experienced lash artist is to focus on client service. Making the lash experience extraordinary for clients to keep your clients coming back.
