Texas requires 320 hours of eyelash extension training completed through a TDLR-licensed beauty school like DFW Lash University. This includes both theory and hands-on practice.

2. Meet the Minimum Age Requirement

To apply for and receive your eyelash extension license in Texas, you must be at least 17 years old.

3. Education Requirement

Applicants must have:

  • A high school diploma or GED, or
  • Be actively working toward completion and able to benefit from the training

4. Pass the State Exams
