Terms of Service
The terms governing your use of our website and enrollment in DFW Lash University’s programs, courses, and services.
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the DFW Lash University website located at https://dfwlashuniversity.com/ (the “website”), and your enrollment in any DFW Lash University program, course, or service (collectively, the “services”). By accessing the website or enrolling in any program, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or enroll in our services.
Acceptance of Terms
By visiting the website, submitting an inquiry, or enrolling in any DFW Lash University program, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and any additional program-specific enrollment agreement provided to you at the time of registration. If a conflict arises between these Terms and a signed enrollment agreement, the signed enrollment agreement will govern.
Eligibility to Enroll
Our programs are open to students who meet the eligibility requirements of the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR), including applicable age, identification, and education requirements described on our FAQ page. Students without a GED or diploma may be eligible through the ability-to-benefit test. Students without a Social Security Number or Texas ID may still be eligible to enroll under TDLR guidelines. It is your responsibility to confirm your eligibility for licensure with TDLR before or during enrollment.
Programs & Enrollment
DFW Lash University offers Flexible, Hybrid, and In-Person Texas Lash License programs, along with continuing education, exam prep, and specialty courses. Program formats, schedules, and curricula are described on our Programs page and are subject to change to reflect updates in TDLR requirements or scheduling needs. Enrollment is confirmed upon submission of a completed application, payment of any required deposit or tuition installment, and completion of our virtual enrollment orientation.
Tuition, Payment Plans & Deposits
Tuition amounts and available payment plans (pay-in-full, weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, and down-payment options) are listed on each program page and may be updated from time to time. Where a payment plan is selected, you agree to remit each scheduled payment on time; missed payments may result in a pause or removal of course access until your account is brought current.
Certain events and services — including Practical Exam Prep Days and Alumni Headshot Days — require a refundable deposit (currently $25–$50 depending on the event) to reserve a spot, as described on our Student Services page. Deposits are refunded according to the terms communicated at the time of booking.
The optional Lanna Lashes student kit ($250, retail value $450) and the $50 TDLR license fee are separate from tuition and are described on each program page. PSI written and practical exam fees are paid directly to PSI and are not included in DFW Lash University tuition.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
Requests to withdraw from a program must be submitted in writing to admission@dfwlashuniversity.com. Refund eligibility depends on how much of the program has been completed at the time of withdrawal, and any applicable refund schedule outlined in your signed enrollment agreement will govern over any general statement in these Terms. Deposits described as “refundable” are refunded according to the specific terms disclosed for that event at the time of booking.
Licensing Disclaimer
DFW Lash University is a TDLR-approved training provider that prepares students to sit for the Texas Eyelash Extension Specialty written and practical examinations. Completion of our curriculum does not itself constitute a state license. Your Texas Lash Specialty License is issued directly by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation upon your successful completion of all TDLR requirements, including passing both required examinations and submitting any required applications and fees to TDLR. DFW Lash University does not guarantee licensure, exam results, employment, or income outcomes.
Student Conduct
Students are expected to conduct themselves professionally in all online and in-person components of our programs, including model days, exam prep sessions, and campus visits. DFW Lash University reserves the right to suspend or dismiss a student from a program for conduct that violates sanitation and safety standards, is unsafe to models or fellow students, or otherwise violates our code of conduct, without obligation to refund tuition already earned for completed coursework.

All curriculum materials, videos, presentations, branding, and content provided through the website or our learning platforms (including Thinkific-hosted courses) are the property of DFW Lash University or its licensors and are provided for your personal educational use only. You may not copy, resell, redistribute, or publicly share course materials without our prior written consent.

The website and services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. DFW Lash University does not warrant that the website will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, DFW Lash University shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of income, profits, or licensure opportunity, arising out of or relating to your use of the website or enrollment in our programs, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold DFW Lash University, its owners, instructors, and staff harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising out of your breach of these Terms or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Dallas County, Texas.
